Ceiling TV Mounts
Support a TV from above when a wall location does not suit the space.
Explore this category ›A ceiling installation is a positioning and structural-planning task. The procurement brief should describe the room as well as the television.
Record the ceiling type and the actual structural attachment point. Decorative panels or a suspended finish should not be assumed to provide the required support. The responsible installer needs to determine an appropriate attachment method for the structure and the selected product. This article is a selection checklist, not a substitute for the product's installation instructions.
Describe the required ceiling-to-screen drop, viewing direction and space around the display. Include sloped or unusual ceiling geometry. A useful drawing can show nearby lighting, doors, circulation routes and other constraints. Ask which configurations accommodate the intended position instead of selecting only by pole appearance.
State whether tilt, swivel or height adjustment is required. Confirm these functions against the actual configuration. Plan power and signal routes, including clearance when the screen moves. Access for installation and future maintenance should be considered before the final location is chosen.
Share the TV model, size, weight and mounting pattern, ceiling information, desired drop and project quantity. Add room photos or a layout when available. The manufacturer can discuss suitable product requirements, while the installer remains responsible for the site-specific installation assessment.
