Fixed, Tilting or Full-Motion: Which TV Mount Fits Your Project?

Start with the room and the viewing task. The mount that provides the most movement is not automatically the best choice for every television installation.

Choose a fixed mount for a consistent viewing position

A fixed wall mount is worth considering when people watch from a predictable position and a close-to-wall appearance matters. Before deciding, check access to the TV connections and whether the screen can be removed for servicing. A compact profile can make cable access more difficult; compare the installed clearance rather than judging the product only from its front view.

Choose tilt when the screen sits above the viewing line

A tilting mount changes the vertical screen angle. This can be useful for a TV positioned higher on a wall, but it does not replace the side-to-side movement of a full-motion design. Confirm the direction and range of adjustment on the selected product. Also check whether plugs, cables or the wall restrict the intended angle.

Choose full-motion for reach and direction

An articulated mount can move the television away from the wall and change its direction. Specify the viewing positions and clearance you need. The TV width can restrict usable swivel, and cables must remain clear throughout the movement. Category demonstrations explain the principle; the actual product specifications decide whether a configuration is suitable.

Prepare a clear procurement brief

Send the TV size, weight, mounting-hole pattern, wall construction and desired movement. For a bulk order, include quantity, destination market and packaging requirements. If the TV model is still undecided, describe the expected range and ask which configurations should be evaluated before selecting a product.
